Grand Announcement
Ashwin and I found out in July that we are going to have a baby! This is our first baby and we are ecstatic!!!
It all seemed almost too easy with me getting pregnant during our second month trying. But now, with all the pregnancy symptoms, it’s far from being easy. I have to admit though, I am one of the few lucky ones to not experience any nausea associated with pregnancy hormones. I did have a few days of queasiness but it was mild and only lasted a few days. I am almost at the end of my first trimester now and am slowly beginning to show the pregnant belly. I feel great except for the severe back pain which makes simple tasks very challenging. Hopefully, it’ll subside soon. I couldn’t get away with nothing… Right?
Our baby is due on March 24, 2006. We don’t know yet if we are having a girl or a boy. We are happy as long as the baby is healthy. However, it would be nice to have a baby girl because I know that’s what Ashwin would really like and there is no better gift that I can give to him.
We’re planning our last wedding anniversary get away without the kids. Sep 27th is out fourth wedding anniversary and we plan on spending the week at the White Mountains and check out Mout Washington. We are going to stay at the Red Jacket Resorts in North Conway, New Hampshire. I will be sure to take lots of pictures of the beautiful scenery up there. There is no better season than the fall to enjoy the great outdoors…
Cheers!

We are very excited about becoming parents and are also a little worried/scared about all the changes that come with this transition. The sleepless nights that await us should be interesting. [...]
