It’s a Girl!!!
Finally after waiting anxiously for two months, yesterday, Ashwin and I went for our 18 week diagnostic ultrasound at the Fallon Clinic. We went in with all intentions of finding out the sex of the baby. Unfortunately, the baby had her legs crossed at the moment and showed us her lovely butt!
Everything looked good. We could see the tiny hands, feet, spine, brain, heart etc. but I was still a little disappointed that they could not determine the gender. Unfortunately for me, the hospital only offers one ultrasound for the whole pregnancy. I was told that I will just have to wait until the baby is born.
Ashwin could tell how upset I was and immediately got an appointment with a private clinic called Miracle of life that does non-diagnostic 2D, 3D and 4D ultrasounds. Today, we went in again with the same hope. To our luck, the baby cooperated during the session and we found out that we are going to have a baby girl!!! We also got to see her in 3D.
We are extremely happy and looking forward to welcoming her in to our lives. As a matter of fact, we just returned from our little celebration!!!
Cheers.
